London for the Boat Show

Last weekend we went through to London to go to the boat show, Dan, Tim (Loftus) and I. The Bike Show, Outdoor Show and Travel Show were all on at the same time, with the same ticket. The Boat Show was big and shiny, but we did see a little boat ‘MingMing ‘ which we recognised from her skippers accounts of sailing in the northern Latitudes, in fact we nearly bumped in to her in 2011 off Jan Mayen. There was some boats outside sailing too with these beautifully decorated sails, now there’s an idea!…
London was snowy! We had a lovely walk on the Sunday round Greenwich Park with Alistair who we stayed with and a look at the Cutty Sark, then a trip up the Thames to the Tate. And didn’t miss the train home!
