Porto Santo Landfall
We have arrived in Porto Santo in the Madeira Archipelago! After 4 days and 513 NM from Lisbon. We had a great sail, constant Northerlys big sea for the first 2 days and 20 knots of wind, it backed off to a steady 15 and the sea reduced for the last two days and we sailed into he harbour at 6 pm this evening. Beautiful Landfall, very reminiscent of Iceland, volcanic rocks, scree and colours, but hot, the water is incredibly turquoise blue. Really exciting to be here.
